Hello Tennessee and all our Radio Amateur operators. Jean (KE4OEQ) and I returned from a great Hamfest at TEN-TEC. My thanks to all the folks at TEN-TEC for their kindness and the set up for ARRL table. We got to meet many friends and was fortunate to sign up several new ARRL members and renew old subscriptions. The fest was down a little probably due to gas price or the threat of rain from the storms on the cost, but it did not hamper the spirits of those that made the trip. We had a great time and look forward to next year.
Its time for GRAY hamfest look forward to seeing all of you there. Stop by and say hello.
I have just got back from ARRL HQ in Newington, CA. We attended the Section Manager training session and got to meet some realy swell SM'S from across the USA. We received a lot of helpfull information and I look forward to working on improving our ARES and ARRL programs across the state.
