=================================================================== Dear 2008 DE QSO Party Participant,

We are happy to announce that the results of the 2008 DE QSO Party have been tabulated and posted to our web page. These can be found at:

    http://www.fsarc.org/QSO%2008/DEQSO%20RESULTS%202008.html

Congratulations to the top finishers in Delaware, the United States, and DX stations. We hope you all had a fun time during this contest no matter how many contacts you made and we're looking forward to seeing you again for the next contest, only 3 months away.

We urge all stations to submit electronic logs. There is free software for those with Windows operating systems available at http://mysite.verizon.net/dmascaro1/

This logging software is very easy to use and does have provisions to handle the DE QSO Party. As an FYI, we worked with this software author's "Cabrillo Evaluator" software to score the contest. Dave Mascaro, W3KM, who author's this software, has been a great help to us finalizing the scoring for this contest.

Electronic logs enhance the accuracy of the scoring and make the results available to the participants a lot faster. We urge you all to use electronic submissions as some time in the near future the contest rules will be modified to offer a point incentive to do so.

If anyone is looking for software for other Operating Systems (i.e. Mac or Linux) , please drop me a note and we'll see what we can do to help.

We look forward to your continued participation in the Delaware QSO Party in 2009. Rules for the 2009 contest can be found at:

    http://www.fsarc.org/DEQSO.html

    Sincerely,

Jerry KB2GCG Pres. First State Amateur Radio Club (FSARC)
